Roger Stubblefield brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a seasoned, professional musician to his role as owner and engineer of 21st Century Recording. He started 21st Century Recording as a way to combine his understanding of the demands of music performance with his interest in digital technology and his enthusiasm for music across the spectrum of styles. Artists appreciate having a fellow musician at the controls, someone who understands what they are trying to accomplish. Stubblefield uses the resources of 21st Century Recording to create MIDI sequences for a wide range of genres. He applies his training in music theory and notation to create MIDI sequences that much more closely mimic live music than can be done with conventional sequencing methods. Stubblefield keeps up his performance skills by freelancing as a tuba player with orchestras and brass groups in the New York and New Jersey areas.
